Privacy Policy

The most important things first

• Your video is never uploaded and never saved. All video processing (movement tracking) happens locally on your device.
• A few still images from the video are sent encrypted to our AI provider solely to create the report. They are not used to train AI models.
• We never sell personal data and use no advertising tracking.
• You can export and delete all your data yourself, directly on the account page.

Who is responsible for the data

What data we process

• Account: your email address (for login with a one-time code).
• Player profiles:the alias/nickname you choose and, if you provide it, the child's birth year and birth month (for automatic age adaptation of the analysis). The birth day is never saved, and we encourage you not to use the child's full name.
• Analysis results: development scores (1–10 per skill), movement measurements and the report text (so the same video can show the same report again without a new analysis), never video or images. Saved analyses can be deleted at any time under Progress.
• Credits: balance history (free, purchase, usage). Payments are handled by Apple; we never see card details.
• Technical information: per analysis we log usage (AI tokens) and quality flags for operations and cost control, not images, not video.

How the video is processed

The video you choose opens directly in your browser/app and does not leave the device. The movement tracking (body points, ball tracking) runs locally. For the analysis itself, a few downscaled still images are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic), which processes them solely to generate your report and does not use them to train its models. We never save the still images.

Children's data

PlayIQ is aimed at parents and guardians (18+). As a parent you choose which video is analyzed and are responsible for having the right to use it (your own child, or with the guardian's consent). We minimize the child's data: an alias instead of a name, birth year and month instead of a full birth date, scores instead of images, and no video is ever saved. The analysis never assesses other children in the video.

Where the data is stored

Account data is stored with Supabase in the EU. The site is operated by Vercel. Our sub-processors: Supabase (database/login), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI analysis of still images), Apple (in-app payments) and Resend (sending login codes, when enabled).

Your rights

• Export: download all your data as JSON on the account page.
• Deletion: delete the account on the account page; players, analyses and balance are removed permanently.
• Rectification and objection: contact us at poyan.katebi@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Cookies and local storage

We use only what is required for login (a cookie for the preview access code and the browser's local storage for your session). No advertising, no tracking across other sites, no third-party analytics.

Changes

If the policy changes, we update the date at the top and notify in the service for material changes.
